Unless you've been living under a rock, you will have probably heard of The Ace Cafe - one of the true old-school London hangouts.
Picture a stuffy Britain back in the fifties and sixties - Rock ’n’ Roll was on the horizon, banned from radio stations whilst the British bike industry was booming. The only place for folks to listen their music was on jukeboxes in cafes like the Ace. A haven for rockers and full of clientele despised by the establishment, the Ace Cafe was at the centre of a real British phenomenon.
Bathed in sodium light, we pulled in, sheepishly plonked the Saab out the way and proceeded to have a nose about.
